Candy AI reply languages and interface settings
The language in a character's reply and the language on the screen are separate choices. Set the one you want to change, then check the result in the actual conversation.

Ask for the reply language explicitly
Write the language request clearly near the start of a conversation. Keep the next message in that language and give a specific topic rather than mixing several language instructions.
An existing chat can retain its earlier context. A newly started conversation may be needed when a language change does not take effect as expected.
Do not confuse translation with full localization
The interface offers language entries such as French and German. That does not establish identical menus, voices and feature behavior for every possible language.
For Japanese or Chinese, distinguish a request for conversational replies from a promise that all controls and support material have the same localization. Check the displayed choices and the actual response.
Keep the account unchanged
Changing a menu language does not require a new paid account. Use the original login when switching devices or browsers so you retain the same history and purchases.
If a language option fails, note the selected language, device and whether the issue affects menus, a new conversation or an existing thread.
Common questions
Will changing Candy AI menus translate every old chat?
Do not assume so. Interface language and existing conversation context are separate; try a clear language instruction or a new conversation where needed.
Can I ask a character for French or German replies?
Specify the language in the conversation and check the resulting response. The menu selection alone should not be treated as a complete conversation-language setting.
Does a Japanese or Chinese reply mean the entire app is localized?
No. Conversational output and full interface or audio localization are different things. Check the specific controls and feature you intend to use.
Do I need another account for a different language?
No new account is needed just to change a language preference. Keep the original login so purchases and history remain attached to the right account.
